We have recently finished a nice Magento upgrade project for our client Project M who is based in Australia. ProjectM specializes in selling computer accessories and also computer games. This particular project involved upgrading the site to the latest Magento (v1.5.1.0) from version 1.3.1.1 and also to install a new template while ensuring all important features from the previous template remained functional. We also worked on upgrading/fixing old extensions plus installing new ones as per requirement.

Over Board – Migration to Magento from OSCommerce Over Board wished to move away from OSCommerce due to limitations encountered while using OSCommerce. Using Magento allows the company the flexibility they desired. This project involved implementing a new site design as well as importing data from the old OSCommerce site. Over Board Over Board are an eCommerce company specialising in the sales of water proof device cases and bags. This project was terrific as it demonstrates the ability to move away from a relativity old system to a new system and at the same time enabling a lot more functionality and flexibility.

They are looking to do this because the current site is having problems with some of the functionality which can only be correct by upgrading an extension and the extensions latest version is not compatibility with 1.7.
